Hallo!
Wir sind eine 3er WG im 5. Stock (Aufzug vorhanden) des Hausprojekts NiKa im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel und suchen ab spätestens Dezember eine*n neue*n Mitbewohner*in.
Aktuell wohnen hier zwei Erwachsene (2x Er/Ihm) im Alter von 37 & 42. Alle Zimmer sind etwa 17qm groß, unterschiedlich geschnitten und es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Wohnküche. Da wir im Bahnhofsviertel wohnen und in direkter Nachbarschaft mehrere Clubs sind solltest du nicht lärmempfindlich sein. Die Miete beträgt 448€ (inkl. Nebenkosten). Es kann sein dass das Zimmer früher als Dezember frei wird, dies ist aber im Moment noch nicht ganz klar. Wir suchen eine Person, die langfristig mit uns in der WG leben möchte und auch Lust auf ein Hausprojekt hat.

DIE WG
Wir nutzen die Wohnküche aktiv und haben Lust auf ein gemeinsames und solidarisches Zusammenleben. Das bedeutet konkret, dass wir gerne gemeinsam essen, zusammen auf der Couch liegen und uns gegenseitig im Alltag unterstützen. Dabei versuchen wir auf verschiedene Bedürfnisse und Kapazitäten zu achten, was einen regelmäßigen Austausch voraussetzt. Unsere Einkäufe bezahlen wir aus einer Gemeinschaftskasse.
Wir tauschen uns am Küchentische darüber aus was in den jeweiligen Leben so los ist, diskutieren über aktuelle politische Entwicklungen oder schauen gerne mal etwas zusammen, ob Filme, Serien oder Sport. Generell sind wir eine ruhige WG, das ist uns auch wichtig, da ein Mitbewohner chronisch krank ist und Ruhe sowie Hilfe im Alltag benötigt.

Das Hausprojekt:
In unserem Hausprojekt (www.nika.haus) wohnen 42 Menschen in mehreren WGs; unter uns sind Handwerker*innen und Angestellte, Arbeitslose, Beschäftigte in sozialen und technischen Berufen, Studierende und Wissenschaftler*innen, Künstler*innen, ältere und jüngere Menschen von 14 bis über 70 Jahren sowie einem Hund. Als Projekt im Mietshäusersyndikat wurde hier ein ehemaliges Bürogebäude im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel in ein selbstverwaltetes und unverkäufliches Wohnhaus umgewandelt, das so nun seit 5 1/2 Jahren besteht. Mit unserem Projekt setzen wir uns für neue Formen des Wohnens in der Stadt ein und schaffen dauerhaft bezahlbaren und solidarischen Wohnraum. Wir treffen alle Entscheidungen gemeinsam und im Konsens und streben die gemeinschaftliche Organisation des Alltags an. Dazu gehört die Teilnahme am alle 14 Tage stattfindenden Hausplenum, ein aktives Einbringen in die AG-Strukturen, und diverse Extratermine rund um Hausverwaltung und -zusammenleben. Wir definieren uns als politisches Projekt, das sich auch in Stadt- und Stadtteilpolitik mit progressiven Beiträgen einbringt. Im Erdgeschosses befinden sich verschiedene Iniativen, die sich gezielt dem Bahnhofsviertel mit all seinen Bewohner*innen öffnen. In unserem Gemeinschaftsstockwerk, auf der Dachterrasse oder in der Sauna ist viel Platz für zwangloses und entspanntes Miteinander.
Room available in a 3-person shared apartment starting in December

We are a group of three sharing a flat on the 5th floor (with elevator) of the NiKa housing project in Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel district and are looking for a new roommate to move in by December at the latest.
Currently, two adults (2x he/him) aged 37 and 42 live here. All rooms are approximately 17 square meters in size, with different layouts, and there is a well-equipped kitchen/living room. Since we live in the station district and there are several clubs in the immediate vicinity, you should not be sensitive to noise. The rent is €448 (including utilities). It is possible that the room will become available earlier than December, but this is not yet clear at the moment. We are looking for someone who would like to live with us in the shared apartment on a long-term basis and who is also interested in a house project.

The shared apartment:
We actively use the kitchen and are interested in living together in a spirit of solidarity. Specifically, this means that we enjoy eating together, relaxing on the couch together, and supporting each other in everyday life. We try to be mindful of different needs and capacities, which requires regular communication. We pay for our shopping from a communal fund.
We sit around the kitchen table and talk about what’s going on in our lives, discuss current political developments, or enjoy watching movies, series, or sports together. In general, we are a quiet shared apartment, which is important to us because one of our roommates is chronically ill and needs peace and quiet as well as help in everyday life.
We are especially happy to welcome people with a long-term perspective! If you find it difficult to write a longer text in German, you are also welcome to write to us in another language.
THE HOUSING PROJECT
In our house project (www.nika.haus), 42 people live in several shared apartments; among us are craftsmen and women, employees, unemployed people, people working in social and technical professions, students and scientists, artists, older and younger people from 14 to over 70 years of age, and a dog. As a project of the Mietshäusersyndikat (apartment building syndicate), a former office building in Frankfurt’s Bahnhofsviertel district was converted into a self-managed and non-saleable residential building, which has now been in existence for 5 1/2 years. With our project, we are committed to new forms of urban living and creating permanently affordable and solidarity-based living space. We make all decisions together and by consensus and strive for the communal organization of everyday life. This includes participation in the house plenary meeting held every 14 days, active involvement in the working group structures, and various extra meetings related to house management and communal living. We define ourselves as a political project that also contributes progressively to city and district politics. The ground floor is home to various initiatives that are specifically open to the station district and all its residents. Our communal floor, roof terrace, and sauna offer plenty of space for casual and relaxed socializing.
